Man sentenced after being convicted of theft after lying about auto sales

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man was sentenced to nearly a decade in prison for lying about auto sale profits, according to Nashville District Attorney General Glenn Funk.

Paul Cox, 63, pled guilty to theft over $250,000.

DA Funk said Cox lied about his auto sale profits and ripped off the Tennessee Department of Revenue of more than $600,000 over a three-year period…
