My brother and I grew up loving barbecue. As children, we would stop with our grandparents at Leonard’s Pit Barbecue in Memphis for barbecue and tangy slaw. And when we visited our Arkansas cousins treated us to The Pig.
Growing up in Memphis I was introduced to the legendary Charlie Vergos Rendezvous ribs, Corky’s Ribs & BBQ and Central. Barbecue was the “go to” meal for so many of our gatherings. So good, so easy and so affordable!
And then moving to Nashville provided me with a lot of other barbecue choices…
