HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Spirit Airlines has ceased operations following a surge in jet fuel prices, a second bankruptcy filing, and a failed merger in 2024. Now, tens of thousands of people are looking for new jobs or new travel arrangements.
Jodi Harp and her daughter flew from Nashville to Orlando for a cheerleading competition. However, because of Spirit’s sudden shutdown, the majority of the Cheerville team from Hendersonville is stranded.
