Thick plumes of black and gray smoke rolled over downtown Nashville on Thursday as firefighters attacked a blaze just off the busy Broadway strip. Crews zeroed in on a building under remodeling at Fourth Avenue South and Broadway, and officials reported no injuries.
According to WKRN News 2, cameras captured heavy smoke hanging over the roadway while multiple fire units worked the scene. Reporter Steve Smith, on site for the station, identified the structure as one currently under renovation.
