NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Metro Council will meet Thursday night to discuss how Nashville Electric Service handled the January winter storm, which has come under fire after people were without power for weeks.
At the meeting, councilmembers are set to discuss a resolution over a lack of confidence in the utility company’s performance during the storm. Nearly 250,000 of the company’s customers were left without power for days, and many for weeks, in freezing and even below-freezing conditions.
