NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Dozens of chihuahuas and puppies had to be rescued from a property outside of Nashville when they were found living “in severe neglect.”
Animal Rescue Corps said Thursday the “giant hoarding rescue” involved more than 130 animals.
“These tiny dogs have been living in severe neglect, reproducing unchecked and struggling to survive without proper medical care, socialization, or even basic physical care,” Animal Rescue Corps said. “Many are suffering from fight wounds, respiratory illness, untreated and severe dental disease, eye infections, tumors, and other urgent medical conditions. Some have already been rushed directly to emergency veterinary care.”
