WSMV4 Investigates: Security company hit with more than $100K fine, 30-day suspension

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – An appeal from a company found to have knowingly allowed people who were not state-certified law enforcement to wear police identification has been denied.

Solaren Risk Management was slapped with an even higher fine in the ruling. What started with an order by a judge for the company to pay $64,000 has now turned into a $118,000 penalty.
