MERAUX, La. (WGNO) — Louisiana State Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on Louisiana Highway 46 on the early morning of Thursday, May 28.
According to troopers, the crash occurred a little before 4:30 a.m. on LA Highway 46 near Mary Ann Drive in St. Bernard Parish.
Based on the preliminary investigation, the pedestrian, 70-year-old Viola Sino, was walking in the westbound lanes of LA Highway 46 wearing dark colored clothing.
