Shrewsbury man pleads guilty to killing his cousin during an argument over a job

A Shrewsbury man pleaded guilty to manslaughter Tuesday in the shooting death of his first cousin, according to authorities.

Devin Tatum, 32, was charged with killing 28-year-old Darren Tatum, a married deckhand from Gretna.

Judge Donald Rowan Jr. of the 24th Judicial District Court sentenced Tatum to five years in prison with credit for time served, court records said…
