NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A 36-year-old Alexandria man was sentenced to a year of probation after pleading guilty in federal court to phoning in a bomb threat following a 2025 parking dispute at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
Corey Johnson pleaded guilty to an indictment charging him with willfully conveying a bomb threat and was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Jay C. Zainey. The guilty plea was entered June 9 at New Orleans’ federal courthouse, but was not announced by U.S. Attorney David Courcelle’s office until Monday (June 29).
