A woman whose body was found inside a Central City apartment this week was identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office Thursday. Her death was labelled a strangling.
Lynne Doyle, 61, was found with her body wrapped in a blanket inside an apartment in the 1900 block of Josephine Street Monday evening, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Doyle’s death was determined to be a homicide by a postmortem examination. The Coroner’s Office listed her preliminary cause of death as asphyxia due to ligature suffocation and strangulation. Ligature suffocation typically means strangulation by tying something around the neck…
