NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Louisiana Democratic leaders held an emergency summit July 4 at Dillard University, criticizing Gov. Jeff Landry’s administration over what they described as an attack on democracy and Black voting rights.
U.S. Reps. Troy Carter and Cleo Fields organized the event, which drew more than two dozen elected officials.
