New Orleans homeowners face insurance cancellations over tree maintenance delays

NEW ORLEANS — Old trees in the city give us shade and a beautiful landscape, but when storms hit, they destroy property, take out power, and cause fatalities.

And now there’s another problem. They are causing some people to have their homeowner’s insurance to be cancelled.
