17 years later, Broadmoor killing remains unsolved

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — July 8 marks 17 years since 20-year-old Darryl Every was found shot to death in the backyard of a home. The killing remains unsolved. It’s the latest case to roll on the Wheel of Justice.

The crime happened a little after 6:00 p.m. near the corner of Dart Street and Vendome Place. At the scene, police told WGNO News that the victim was found face down and may have been cutting the grass at the time.

10 years later, Tollette George’s murder remains unsolved

Police also said that night that the suspect was believed to be roughly the same age and wore black clothing. They also said he may have left the scene in a Nissan.

But since then, nobody has been brought to justice for the killing…
