JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A 23-year-old was found guilty of killing a Marrero man at a Westwego playground while trying to rob him, Jefferson Parish District Attorney Paul D. Connick Jr. announced.
On Thursday, July 9, a Jefferson Parish jury convicted Byron Spottsville of the second-degree murder of 26-year-old Zashaun Espinoza. Additionally, he was convicted of obstruction of justice for trying to hinder the investigation.
