As much as eight inches of rain fell in a short time in some parts of New Orleans, Mayor Helena Moreno said.
“We just had a ton of rain come through our area,” the mayor said in a social media video.
To make matters worse, Moreno said “there were apparently some issues with one of the pumping stations.”…
