According to the New Orleans Police Department, Parker allegedly obtained $1,000 from the victim’s account on July 20, 2026. NOPD has not publicly detailed how she allegedly accessed the account, whether through stolen credentials, debit card fraud, or an illegal electronic transfer. The department has a warrant on file for her arrest and is seeking the public’s assistance in locating her.

Depending on how Parker allegedly gained access to the victim’s account, prosecutors could also turn to other statutes. Louisiana Revised Statute 14:71.1 covers bank fraud, defined as executing a scheme to defraud a financial institution or obtain account funds through false pretenses, and carries penalties of up to 10 years in prison, fines up to $100,000, and mandatory restitution to the victim, per the Louisiana State Legislature.
