NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – After New Orleans paid out more than $4 million in accrued leave to people who stopped working as city employees last year, the city aims to change its leave policy.
At a Civil Service Commission meeting Wednesday afternoon, city leaders presented their proposed changes, saying they hope to eliminate bonus days off for current and new employees.
