Storms capable of heavy rainfall Friday and Saturday

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Highs in the upper 80s today with storm chances increases this afternoon. A marginal risk for flash flooding has been issued for SE LA today as storms will be capable of producing several (3-5) inches of rain. This will not be seen widespread across SE LA, but in hyper-local pockets, similar to what we saw yesterday.

For Saturday, are we expecting a re-run of last weekend weather wise at Tiger Stadium? Our in house GRAF model is giving us an ideal set up where rain is early afternoon and most of the rain is out before the evening. The latest run is even showing Baton Rouge missing out on a lot of the rain in general.
