It’s been less than two years since Hi-Ho Lounge closed its doors on Halloween in 2024 to make way for new owners with a new vision for the corner bar on St. Claude Avenue. Now, after opening with a fresh identity and decor that November, No Dice is closing too.
Ownership announced the closure in a post on social media Saturday, saying that a free show on Sunday night would be the bar and music venue’s last “under current management as No Dice.”
“The last two years have been life changing, challenging, and unforgettable,” the post reads. “You walk away from every chapter in life with something to hold onto, and this one is the people. To our regulars, the bands, the block, our staff, thank you.”
Owners did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but said on social media that fans can expect a venue of a similar vein to continue at 2239 St. Claude Ave. in the future. They said coming shows booked through No Dice will be honored through the management transition. Several bands are slated to play at the venue through November…
