Increased chances for Tropical Depression formation in Atlantic by Wednesday

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – We’re continuing to monitor an area in the tropical Atlantic that the National Hurricane Center flags for potential development as early as Wednesday.

The NHC says that “a trough of low pressure located about 1000-miles east-southeast of Bermuda continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms” adding that “environmental conditions over the system are forecast to become more conducive for development by the middle of this week.”
