METAIRIE, La (WVUE) – Father Mike Mitchell, pastor of Our Lady of Divine Providence, will auction 52 detailed pieces of art at his annual art show at the church Sept. 25.
Mitchell’s subjects range from a New Orleans streetcar to birds and butterflies. One colored-pencil drawing of St. Louis Cathedral took about a week to complete.
