South Louisiana businesses and nonprofit groups recently announced the following promotions, new hires and resignations.
New Orleans
Nicole Hackmann has been hired as executive director of Le Petit Théâtre Du Vieux Carré, succeeding Don-Scott Cooper. Hackmann, a New Orleans native, previously worked for Fulton Theatre in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and, more recently, was executive director at Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
Carlos Quinonez has been hired as the national brand ambassador and market manager for Big Easy Whiskey. Quinonez has previously worked with Adolfo Garcia Restaurant Group, Coquette, Columns and Fives. Most recently, he worked as beverage director for Turkey and the Wolf Group and developed a bar in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Jeff Arnold has been named the state director for Powering Louisiana, an initiative of the Southern Renewable Energy Association. Arnold, who spent 14 years as a Louisiana state representative for part of New Orleans, previously worked as CEO of the Association of Louisiana Electric Co-ops, was most recently the executive director of Energy Right — America First Energy Project Louisiana.
Baton Rouge
Jodi Conachen has been hired as regional vice president for Acadian Ambulance’s Louisiana East region. Conachen, a Baton Rouge native, previously worked as chief operating officer at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
Kean Miller announced the hiring of two new attorneys in its Baton Rouge office. John Madison III has been hired as special counsel with a focus on construction law and dispute resolution. Madison, a certified mediator with more than 25 years of experience, has also served as an arbitrator in numerous large claims resulting from complex industrial projects. Taylor Guice has been hired as an associate with a focus on commercial litigation. Guice, who graduated LSU Law Center last year, most recently served as a judicial law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana and as a judicial extern in the 19th Judicial District Court…
