NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a shooting in the Bywater neighborhood that happened on the night of Friday, Sept. 25.
The NOPD said the incident occurred close to the intersection of Poland Avenue and North Derbigny Street.
Officers arrived at the scene shortly before 10:30 p.m., and they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
