NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – On Monday, officials with the City of New Orleans claimed they fulfilled a public records request from Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s legal team for communications related to her short-lived indictment.
Murrill’s attorneys — Laura Rodrigue and Blake Arcuri — said on Sept. 21 that the public records request had been rejected by New Orleans’ city attorney, with an unlawful demand to limit its scope.
At the time, City Attorney Charline Gipson called the claim “disingenuous,” saying “an acknowledgment requesting narrower search parameters was issued, as is routine when requests are not sufficiently limited in scope.”…
