Manager of West Bank loan business arrested, accused of stealing nearly $60K

Authorities arrested a Terrytown woman accused of stealing almost $60,000 from the West Bank cash loan business where she worked as a manager.

Myjiel Wilson, 31, was booked Tuesday with felony theft valued over $25,000, computer fraud and bank fraud, according to an arrest report.

Detectives with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation June 26 after a supervisor for Gulf Payday Loans, a Harvey short-term cash loan business, reached out to the department to report a theft, authorities said…
