NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The postponed National Fried Chicken Festival at the Lakefront Arena Festival Grounds has lost Nelly and Dillon Francis as its musical headliners.
The threat of inclement weather prompted organizers to reschedule the festival from this weekend to next. But in a press release issued Saturday (Oct. 4), the festival said headlining acts Nelly and Francis were unavailable for the new dates Oct. 9-11.
The rescheduled festival still will feature performances by 2 Chainz, the Ying Yang Twins, Keri Hilson, A-Trak, Webbie, Big Freedia with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, Marc Broussard, Shamarr Allen and more…
