You can say a lot of things about New Orleans, but it is not a city of steep inclines or hills.
Finding a highest or lowest point in the city can be challenging and can vary based on certain parameters, said Richard Campanella, a Tulane University geographer who has long studied the state’s topography and architecture. He noted southeast Louisiana as a whole does not have very distinct highs and lows because it is a river delta.
