NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) —The New Orleans Police Department is investigating separate homicides.
The first one happened at 8:59 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, in the 2000 block of Lakeshore Drive, where officers were called in response to an aggravated battery by cutting incident. The victim reportedly told NOPD officers that he had been stabbed several times while sitting in his vehicle.

The victim was able to escape but then struck by the suspect’s vehicle, said officers.
He was taken to a hospital by EMS but died after 12 a.m…
