Friday Brings Heavy Rain And Stronger Winds

Rain chances increase late Thursday night, with showers possible after 3 a.m. Friday. Friday could bring showers and thunderstorms from early afternoon into the evening, with an 80% chance of rain, rainfall totals between a quarter and half an inch, and northeast winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

Friday night remains unsettled, with more showers and thunderstorms likely and a low near 69 degrees. The National Weather Service says Isaias is expected to move north toward the northern Gulf Coast late Friday or early Saturday, although the storm’s exact track and strength remain uncertain.
