The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating after human remains were found last week in a wooded area off U.S. Highway 90 in Bridge City.
Deputies responded on Oct. 5 to a report of possible human remains discovered near the 2100 block of Highway 90. There, they found skeletal remains, which were later confirmed to be human, Sgt. Brandon Veal, a spokesperson for the department, said Monday.
