A woman who, along with two others, beat and attacked a man outside a Marrero store last year before forcing him into a vehicle was booked into jail this week, according to investigators with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Ciara Franklin, 41, also known as Ciara Harrison, was extradited from Galveston, Texas, Monday and booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna on charges including second-degree kidnapping and aggravated second-degree battery, according to Sgt. Brandon Veal, spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office.
The assault took place on the morning of June 1, 2025, outside of a store in the 6300 block of Acre Road in Marrero.
