A New Orleans woman last month gunned down her ex-husband’s girlfriend near a New Orleans East storage unit before fleeing to Mississippi, court documents show.
Police allege Shelia Renee Scott wanted to intervene in her ex-husband’s new relationship and targeted and killed Jacquelyn Green, 43. Bond for Scott, 45, was set at $1 million in Orleans Parish Criminal District Court on Thursday as she awaits trial on a count of second-degree murder.
