One person was stabbed inside the Orleans Parish jail on Wednesday morning following a fight between three inmates, according to the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office.
At around 11:21 a.m., a fight involving three people in custody ended with one person suffering a stab wound. The inmate was taken to a local hospital.
Later in the day, the sheriff’s office said that after searches across multiple housing units, it recovered two “makeshift weapons” related to the fight. The sheriff’s office also said four people were rebooked on weapons and contraband-related charges…
