Cops are working to figure out who shot a man dead outside of Westwego Monday night.
“The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred… in unincorporated Westwego,” JPSO Sergeant Brandon Veal said in an email. “Around 7:30 pm, deputies responded to a report of gunfire in the 900 block of W. Krueger Ln.”
He says when they got there, police found an unresponsive adult male on the ground outside a residence.
“The victim was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on the scene.”
Veal says they were not able to immediately determine a motive or suspect.
