The Krewe of Caerus, which was scheduled to parade for the first time Feb. 4 on the Veterans Memorial Boulevard route in Metairie, has been canceled, according to Anthony Reddix Jr., a krewe official. The krewe’s inaugural parade, which was inspired by the Greek god of opportunity and luck, was expected to include 14 floats carrying 200 riders.
