NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A man who was trying to carjack someone was shot multiple times by the would-be victim, according to the New Orleans Police Department. The victim, an adult male, was reportedly targeted by 23-year-old Johnathan Edwards in the 7300 block of Chef Menteur Highway in New Orleans East around 2 a.m. on Jan. 26.
