After the rain, breezy and clearing skies by end of weekend

Rain is moving out, just in time for carnival activities across metro New Orleans today and tomorrow.

“We’ll be dry the rest of today, during the afternoon and evening hours, so much of today looking good,” said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler.

“We’ll stay breezy tonight and get cooler this evening with temperatures in the 50s later tonight,” she said.

Sunday will start cool with morning lows in the 40s and afternoon highs around 57.
