Cops Wednesday night got a call to the 9300 block of Airline Highway about gunfire.
“Initial information shows a juvenile male gunshot wound victim has been transported to a local hospital via EMS,” NOPD Senior Public Information Officer Aaron Looney said in an email. “Initial notification was received at about 10:43 p.m.”
The London Lodge motel is in that block.
Looney did not release the age of the juvenile, his condition, nor details of the shooting.
“No further information is currently available.”
