The Krewe of Athena presented “Superbold Sunday … A League of Their Own” during the recent coronation at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Dr. Taisha Williams-Payne, captain, led off the evening as hoplite soldiers and flag bearers presented the organization’s pillars. The Royal Graces were Shajuan M. Burns, representing Sisterhood; Patrice Parker Jefferson, representing Service; Eunique Charlé Temple, representing Fellowship; and Dr. Dominque Woodfork Richard, representing Fun.
