Officer seen shoving band member during parade previously accused of fraud; 18-year-old speaks out

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A New Orleans Police Sergeant has been removed from parade duty following an incident involving an L.B. Landry High School band member. Brandon Mitchell, 18, is a section leader in the band and is speaking out about the altercation for the first time. He says he was shoved for no apparent reason while playing his horn during the Krewe of Muses parade on St. Charles Avenue last Thursday.
