The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office has identified a woman fatally struck by a car in Hoffman Triangle on Mardi Gras. Mildred Moore, 44, died of pulmonary and cardiac contusions after being run over by a man driving a vehicle in the 3400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at around 10:04 p.m. Tuesday. Emergency Medical Services took her to a hospital, where she died the next day, according to the coroner.
