A man is fighting for his life and a woman is in the hospital after a double shooting in Jefferson Parish.
According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened on Burnley Drive, a neighborhood street a little more than a mile south of LaPalco Boulevard between Westwego and Marrero.
Officials described the man’s wound as “life threatening.” The woman’s injuries, officials say, are “non-life-threatening.”
