FBI New Orleans field office seeking diverse agent candidates

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The FBI New Orleans field office is hoping to increase diversity in its ranks. According to Assistant Special Agent in Charge Percy Giles III, “The Diversity Agent Recruitment Program (DAR), it is a nation-wide event, but they have them at various cities around the country and New Orleans was designated for a city to receive the DAR. Not only is it one of our core values, but it’s important that the FBI mirrors and the communities that we serve. You have to be a minimum age of 23, you have to have a four-year degree. You also have to be a US citizen, you have to have two years’ working experience, and also the ability to obtain a top-secret clearance.”
