NEW ORLEANS – On Thursday, we’ll commemorate our nation’s founding. As we do that, we should also be aware that July 4th is also the effective date of Louisiana’s Wild West Law. That’s my name for the new law that allows almost anyone 18 or older to carry a concealed firearm – without a permit and without any training whatsoever.
