Early this morning, a single-vehicle collision on the Twin Span claimed the life of a man, effectively halting traffic on Interstate 10 east near Ridgeway Boulevard. The New Orleans Police Department, alerted at around 1 a.m., arrived to find the vehicle engulfed in flames. Inside, an unresponsive man was discovered and later pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical services, as reported by WGNO.
