There’s no better place to experience authentic culture than New Orleans. Known for its world-renowned music, creole cuisine and annual celebrations and festivals, the city is truly a gem of the South. Possibly New Orleans’ most famous sports venue, Caesars Superdome has stood strong in the Business District since 1975.
The Superdome is truly a historic facility. It has hosted seven Super Bowls — and will host its eighth this January — as well as five NCAA men’s basketball championships over nearly 50 years in service. Currently, it is the home venue for the Saints and the annual Sugar Bowl, but has also been home to the New Orleans Jazz and the Tulane Green Wave football team throughout its tenure.
