NEW ORLEANS ( WGNO ) — Finding a ticket to one of Taylor Swift’s shows in New Orleans is already difficult, and now hotel rooms are “swiftly” selling out ahead of her Eras Tour.
“Taylor tourism, or Taylor takeover, whatever it may be, we can’t wait to have her here in New Orleans,” said Kelly Schulz, the vice president of communications with New Orleans & Company.
Swifties are counting the days until her Eras Tour stops in New Orleans, and tourism leaders are getting ready to count those dollars.

“We know that so many hospitality businesses are rolling out the red carpet for Taylor fans,” she said.
Schulz went on to say, “This is going to be a fantastic weekend. Probably one of the best we’ve ever had in terms of hotel occupancy.”
Finding a hotel downtown may be just as difficult as snagging a Swift ticket.
“We know hotels will sell out around the region with so much demand and excitement. Of course, the rates are based on supply and demand and there’s a tremendous demand,” Schulz said.
