Fans Say Taylor Swift Singing a Special Cover Is ‘The Best Thing I’ve Ever Seen’

For fans lucky enough to see Taylor Swift in concert in New Orleans, La. on Saturday, Oct. 26, they got to see the 34-year-old fangirl when she brought Sabrina Carpenter on stage to perform “Espresso” and got to sing a fan-favorite lyric.

Carpenter took the stage to help Swift with her acoustic cover of the hit track, and before the line, “I’m working late, ’cause I’m a singer,” Swift grinned and asked her friend, “Can I do it?”

The “Taste” singer replied, “You can do it!” before Swift excitedly declared, “Oh my god, I’m about to do it.” Swift went on to perform her own rendition of the line, with the crowd loudly singing along.

One Swiftie shared a clip on social media, with the caption reading, “Taylor asking Sabrina if she can sing IM WORKING LATE CAUSE IM SINGER “can I do it?.. oh my god Iā€™m about to do it”šŸ˜­.”

The whole performance was a mashup of Carpenter’s song “Espresso” and Swift’s song “Is It Over Now?”, a vault track from 1989 (Taylor’s Version) .
