Louisiana State Police search for St. Bernard Parish fatal hit-and-run suspect

ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. ( WGNO ) — The Louisiana State Police has asked for the public’s help in finding the suspect in a fatal St. Bernard Parish hit-and-run crash.

According to troopers, around 3:15 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, 26-year-old Kyle St. Angelo was riding his motorcycle north on Louisana Highway 46 approaching Riverbend Drive.

At the same time, troopers said a pickup truck was headed south on the highway, and was making a left turn onto Riverbend crossing into St. Angelo’s path. St. Angelo reportedly crashed into the passenger side of the truck and was ejected from his bike.

Troopers said he was wearing a helmet but sustained fatal injuries. St. Angelo reportedly died on the scene.

LSP troopers said the truck driver fled the scene and did not call the police.

Man dragged in New Orleans armed carjacking

An investigation revealed the truck was a newer model, light-colored, possibly white, crew cab Dodge Ram pickup. Troopers add that the truck should have damage to the front passenger side door.
